Heavenly Brunch at the Bluewater Grill

My favorite summer mornings are spent watching the sun rise over Skaneateles Lake. I sit in the rocking chair with a cup of coffee and watch the morning unfold.
Kingfishers swoop over with their distinctive trill, Mergansers quietly slide across the horizon, chipmunks furtively hunt for s’more crumbs around the ashes of the fire pit. I think, “I could sit here all day.”
However, let a couple of hours pass and the visual thrills are eclipsed by hunger pangs. I begin to think about a heavenly brunch from the Bluewater Grill. Heavenly because they serve the best Bloody Marias — made with Tequilla —not vodka, hot with horseradish and a string of olives.
Every item on the menu is tasty, from the granola with yogurt and fresh fruit to the Huevos Rancheros. You can sit inside and watch the fish swim out your window, or sit up on the deck outside and get a great view of the lake. If you are going to breakfast or brunch in Skaneatleles, do not miss the Bluewater Grill.
The Bluewater Grill is located at 11 West Genesee St. in Skaneateles, NY, (315)-685-6600. Brunch is only available on the weekends.
